Yan has not been all smooth sailing to get such brilliant results. Her academic research did not go well at first. The lag period of the article is long, and she revised her paper several times but still was rejected by the journal, which has put a lot of pressure on Yan, making her fall into self-doubt. But she regained her confidence and finally successfully published her first article in the high-level journal of ABS level four in the field of economic management in the third year of her Ph.D., which helped her won the national scholarship. Yan slowly found an academic feeling and became more and more proficient in scientific research. In the following two years, her 12 articles got good news one after another and were published by many influential well-known journals.
Different from the outside world's horrible description of scientific research, Yan felt free when she did scientific research. As far as she concerned, scientific research was a long-term plan, she needed to control the time and tasks independently, which was a good opportunity for Yan to pursue freedom. Yan said that when she saw her work printed on the journal, her sense of accomplishment was beyond words. Yan described that the road of scientific research is like walking. It would be a little uncomfortable at the beginning, but gradually she became acquainted and more proficient. In the process, she gradually discovered the fun of researching. It seemed not so difficult and eventually developed into an interest. Yan didn’t satisfy with the status quo and was eager to surpass herself, get breakthrough in new fields and post articles in better journals.
